MEDICAL ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Concorde - Insurance Coding and Billing SpecialistAs a Medical Administrative Assistant, you are an integral member of the health care team. Your organizational skills and clear understanding of medical and insurance coding terminology keeps your workplace running efficiently. You will be trained in basic CPR, but will mainly function in an administrative environment performing duties such as transcription, billing, and word processing. You will also use medical computer applications to manage patient records.

How long is the program?
In San Bernardino, we have both day and evening programs available.
  • Our Day program is 32 weeks.
  • Our Evening program is 39 weeks.
Will I receive hands-on, real world job experience?
Concorde provides a realistic environment, and we also offer a hands-on working experience called an externship. Our Medical Administrative Assistant externship is 4 weeks for both our day and evening programs.
