Free Dental Services for Kids Concorde Aurora

As a child, our experiences at the dentist help determine how we view oral health for the rest of our lives.

On Monday, Concorde Career College-Aurora helped create a firm, positive foundation by inviting underserved Denver-area youth to their free Give Kids a Smile dental clinic.

In partnership with the American Dental Association, the clinic provided what would have cost nearly $4,000 at a private practice of dental cleanings, x-rays, fluoride treatments, and sealants to nearly 30 children, ages 4-18.

Aurora Public TV's Matt Peterson stopped by to spotlight the important work that our students and staff were doing throughout the day.

Enjoy the piece, "Bringing Smiles to Kids", that aired on the local Aurora News Weekly program.

The next free dental clinic for kiddos will be in June. If you're local to the Denver-metro, book your own appointment.

Whether getting practice in dental assisting or preparing students to become dental hygienists, the clinic at Concorde - Aurora is just one of the many places on campus that hands-on learning takes place.
