Concorde's campus in Kansas City, Mo. hosted its second open house in a month the morning of July 29, only this time there was a community connection with the health care career college.

As with the previous open house, visitors were guided through numerous stations to visit throughout campus. Each registered attendee was issued an "Open House Passport" with eight different stations that guided them to visit five different areas of the health care career college - medical programs, dental programs, respiratory therapy programs, practical nursing programs, and physical therapist assistant programs. Once they visited all eight stations and had their passports punched for each, they were entered into a drawing at the end of the Open House for a 32GB iPad!

There also was a family event, complete with kids' carnival and ice cream truck. Members of the Kansas City Chiefs, including KC Wolf and Chiefs cheerleaders, were on hand. Motivational speaker and author Todd Jadlow, a former Indiana University basketball star, was at one of the stations to discuss his new book, Jadlow: On The Rebound and his life. And, the Full Employment Council, KU Hospital, First Call and Department of Health and Human Services were on hand as community resources.
