CAMPUS PRESIDENT SPOTLIGHT

It is a truly special situation when a dedicated and talented individual ends up in the right place at the right time. And that's exactly how Mike Lovejoy ended up becoming our Grand Prairie, Texas, Campus President!

We initially welcomed Mike to our faculty in 2008 as Surgical Technology Clinical Instructor. In two short years, he became a campus Program Director and was eventually selected for the position as our National Director of Surgical Technology.

That position required a brief relocation to the Campus Support Center in Mission, Kansas, but Texas eventually called him back. In 2014, he assumed the role of the Academic Dean in Grand Prairie, Texas, and quickly became the current Campus President in 2015.

"I'm fortunate to have the unique privilege of seeing lives change for the better and families being rewarded with the benefits of a student's success," he said.

Mike loves being a part of a team that strives to make a difference in the lives of students and future health care providers.

"Through education, individuals can acquire new skills that will change their future and open doors of potential. That's why I am a Campus President."
