To all you Concorde Physical Therapist Assistant students around the country who might not think it's worth it to join your professional association, the American Physical Therapy Association, here is a message from Ana Musket, DPT, a graduate of Southwest Baptist University, APTASA MO Core Ambassador and APTA Brand Champion.

"During my first year I had a hard time with the idea of paying annual membership dues to a professional organization because the thought of spending more money was unfathomable; if it wasn't free, I wasn't interested. After I finally paid my dues and joined the APTA, I was so thankful that I did. The APTA has enhanced my education and made me feel a part of the PT community. So, I wanted to share 5 resources that I have found helpful in my first year of PT school to help you weigh the cost vs. benefits of joining the APTA!"
