COOL STUFF ON CAMPUS

Not sure if you've noticed, but we've been having some fun on our social media feeds over the last few months. We've launched a series of social video/sharing challenges for our campuses nationwide! Concepts have ranged from the practical - like our series featuring students' best advice for time management for accelerated career training, to the unpredictable - like our terrific versions of the #InMyFeelings viral dance craze to Drake's hit song of that name.

Our latest video challenge was a real thriller. Because the Concorde family loves celebrating Halloween, we dared our students and staff to create their best renditions of the 1984 creepy classic "Thriller" by Michael Jackson.

And did they ever!

Something evil was definitely lurking as campus teams went all-out to recreate the video - complete with props, makeup, lavish zombie costumes and even plot lines involving at least one Campus President in full makeup!

All versions of this latest challenge were terrific, but only one could be called the winner. Based on total number of engagements with the video's post on Facebook (including likes, comments, shares, and views), the Southaven, Mississippi campus, was the hands-down victor. This epic two-anda-half-minute production wowed us AND the audience. Viewed over 13,000 times with more than 350 shares, the video reached a whopping 30 THOUSAND Facebook users! That's a record for Concorde's social media history!

You can probably guess there's no stopping us now. More video challenges are coming down the line. Leaning back toward the more practical side, our latest challenge for January features current students' thoughts on their career goals and aspirations in the health care world for the new year. (We gotta give the zombies a break until next year!)
