Concorde Career Colleges today announced the promotion of Chris Benner as president of the Dallas campus. Benner has served as director of student affairs at Concorde-Dallas since 2018.

“Our leadership team has been impressed with Chris’ accomplishments since she joined Concorde. She is a passionate, energetic advocate for Concorde’s students and lives out our mission every day. I can’t think of a better leader to serve as our Dallas campus president,” said Kevin Prehn, president of Concorde Career Colleges.

Benner brings over 20 years of education experience. She began her higher education career as an admissions representative before transitioning to student affairs. Prior to joining Concorde, Benner held several leadership positions, including campus director of career services at the Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts. She holds Master of Business Administration in Human Resource Management from Colorado Technical University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from PennWest Clarion.

She is a recipient of the 2023 Concorde Torch Award, the highest honor given annually to a faculty or staff member at each campus who consistently demonstrates behavior that supports Concorde's values and creates positive contributions and results.

Benner fills the vacancy left by Erin Henry, who was recently promoted to regional vice president of operations overseeing eight campuses in four states.
