The Medical Assistant Diploma program is offered at all 17 Concorde campuses.
The Memphis, TN and Southaven, MS campuses also offer an Associate of Applied Science Degree program.

Medical assistant training through Concorde emphasizes real-world coursework that immerses you from day one in the practical aspects of supporting a fast-paced medical work environment. Training comprehensively equips you to serve effectively in both clinical and administrative functions in clinics and physicians’ offices.
- Patient intake processing, including taking patient histories & vital signs
- Performing first aid & CPR
- Preparing patients for procedures
- Assisting physicians with examinations & treatments
- Infection control
Medical assistants also serve in administrative roles, supporting a medical practice day-to-day operations and engaging with patients and other healthcare service providers from labs to general practitioners to specialists.
- Scheduling and receiving patients
- Preparing and maintaining medical records
- Performing basic secretarial skills and medical transcription
- Handling telephone inquiries and written correspondence
- Serving as a liaison between physicians and other individuals
